ProgressSoft, with the participation of Swift, hosted an exclusive conference for banks in Oman on ‘The Path Ahead to Swift Services.’
The closed-session conference, which was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Muscat, gathered around 100 bankers for essential transition principles of new Swift services, including ISO 20022 migration and Swift Go adoption.
The conference included four insightful sessions by ProgressSoft and Swift experts covering anticipated impact on Swift infrastructures, operational points of attention, configurations, and more aspects that assist banks with ISO 20022, CBPR+ and Swift Go readiness.
The sessions also covered technical parts related to Swift interfaces, RMA enforcement and translation, configuration, and Swift’s payment strategy and Swift Go update, as well as ProgressSoft’s accommodation for ISO 20022 and Swift Go roadmaps.
With ProgressSoft’s Payments Hub Platform already implemented in the majority of banks in Oman, ProgressSoft set a special focus on the platform’s Swift Go module including its integrations, validations and alignment with Swift release cycles, enabling banks utilizing the platform to seamlessly adopt the new standard in low-value international payments.
To date, ProgressSoft’s Payments Hub Platform has demonstrated remarkable results for tens of banks in Oman and the region in migrating to ISO 20022, complying with Swift requirements, and facilitating cross-border smart payments routing in addition to connecting with third-party channels and networks.
ProgressSoft is honored to have met with its partner banks in Oman, and extends a special thanks to the participation of Swift.
